Rajasthan has always been a place of mysteries Butati is one of them. 
Butati dham is a temple in butati village of Nagaur district of Rajasthan, India. 

Background:
Now there's a 400 year old legend about this temple. Sri Chaturdas Ji Maharaj saint of this temple was booned with power to cure paralysis. Even today it is said that his powers can cure paralysis. 
Thousands of patients visit here daily for all over the country. 

Conveyance : The place is 250kms. from jaipur and 150 from Jodhpur. Both of which are connected to airports or by rail it's connected to jodhpur and bikaner one need to reach merta road or nagaur by these stations.  Nagaur is 50 kms and merta is 33 kms from butati dham 
It's easily accessible. 

Period of stay: Not more than 7 days, that's strict. The patient will be registered in the directory on arrival and upon seventh day announcement will have to vacate the temple precincts . 

Accommodation: Paralysis is a disease where patient need atleast 2-3 persons, temple is equipped with every possible facility for all. 
Food, shelter, Mats, rooms, electricity, water etc everything is accessible and yeah, It's free. Sometimes rooms aren't available due to crowd but the central hall is large enough to absorb the mob. 
People might say who thinks of cost when it comes to health of loved ones. But free here means that its discrimination free. Every single human is treated equally there. No race, no caste, no religion, no class that's the beauty of butati. 


My own experience:

To me it gave my life back. For a man no one is as close as his mom. She is the most wonderful woman of my life. 
At 2am of may 29th, 2016, i heard my dad calling me with shivering voice. It was not normal i woke up and saw mom like never before. Her left arm was still. We thought it was just a normal cramp but it wasn't. 
She was diagnosed with a combined storke of high blood pressure and high blood sugar.

There started a journey of hospitals, labs, pharmacies etc.
It took 4 days to get her discharged from ICU her health was improved but hand was as still as it was before. 
Every relative came and advised us various stuffs. Amongst advices visiting butati was frequent. 

Later, Dad took her to Rajasthan for better treatment but improvement was negligible. I although a born brahmin but have never accpted any irrational beleifs. I found visting a temple won't  get one cured(ofcourse it's kalyuga). Still dad Decided to have a stay there for a week.  

I used to call them every morning and evening. As the time passed i observed a boosting confidence in voice of dad and mom. 

Dad on second day said 'the true world is here my son, ours pain is nothing when you see patients here. Everyone helps eachother, all the worries are outside the temple premises, whether or not she gets cured but we will be at mental peace' He used to tell me about peoples for all over the country staying there for loved ones. 

On fourth day, I received a video on whatsapp. Yes, my mom lifted her hand by own it gave me goosebumps. :') She was so happy there visiting  temple twice a day, doing exercises, meeting good people, helping each other (humans are supposed to) 

Routine went on. 

No procrastination in exercises and visiting temple. 

On the seventh day they departed for back to Guwahati. They arrived around 2 pm i rushed from office. I was speechless as she lifted  her hand for blessings. I turned to dad and thanked him.
Later on the even she even made a tea for me <3. She recovered more like 70% there.
